The management committee issued its annual report containing the following: minutes of the 2010 Annual General Meeting; message from SWISSCAM's president; message from Wilhelm Meier, Switzerland's ambassador to Brazil; message from Maria Stela Pompeu Brasil Frota, Brazil's ambassador to Switzerland; events in 2010; Brazilian economic highlights, and our membership list. The publication is illustrated with photographs of the Estrada Real, a tourist route following the trail used by mule trains to ship out treasure from the state of Minas Gerais.
Stephan Buser, SWISCAM's executive director, presented the chamber's activities, balance sheet, and income statement for 2010, as well as the budget and activities planned for 2011. All these accounts and the budget for 2011 were voted unanimously.
After the meeting, guests attended a talk on "Scenarios for the Brazilian economy" given by the economist João Luiz Mascolo.
