Presidents' Club 2015

18/11/2015

No dia 18 de novembro, aconteceu o Presidents’ Club com a realização de um almoço no hotel Hilton São Paulo Morumbi, juntamente com o painel de discussão "Brazil and the World Economy: What Next?" integrado pelo Sr. Roberto Giannetti da Fonseca, Presidente da Kaduna Consultoria e Participações e Presidente da CEAL - Conselho Empresarial da América Latina; Sr. Wilson Bricio, CEO da ZF Brasil; Sr. Antonio Batista, upcoming Dean da Fundação Dom Cabral e moderado pelo Sr. Carlos A. Primo Braga, Professor de Economia Política Internacional do IMD.

Sinopse do painel:

Brazil is mired in its worst economic recession of recent history. Moreover, gridlock dominates the political debate in Brasília, aggravating the economic crisis. To make things worse, the external environment (Chinese economic slowdown, decline in the price of commodities, and expectations about interest rate increases in the US...) adds to the headwinds faced by the Brazilian economy. This panel will address what to expect for the Brazilian economy in the near future. Professor Braga will introduce the panel and he will make a brief analysis of the prospects for the world economy in 2016. This will be followed by interventions by Roberto Giannetti da Fonseca focusing on the opportunities and challenges faced by Brazilian export firms, by Wilson Bricio on the prospects of the automotive complex in Brazil, as well as the role of disruptive technologies in this sector, and by Antonio Batista about the importance of continuing to invest in human capital amid the crisis.
