Philip Morris is the newest Gold member of SWISSCAM

SWISSCAM is pleased to welcome back Philip Morris Brazil as a member and now in the Gold category, alongside other major Swiss companies in Brazil.

It is the second largest tobacco company in the country and has been present since 1973. Its plant in Santa Cruz do Sul (RS) has over 1,600 employees producing well-known brands such as Marlboro and L & M. In addition to its office in Curitiba, the company has approximately 3,000 employees in Brazil.

More than one billion people will smoke in 2025 according to the World Health Organization, despite the campaigns to stop smoking. In this sense, Philip Morris is making significant investments in reduced risk products that offer adult smokers a better alternative than cigarettes. Since 2008, there are more than $ 3 billion invested, involving more than 400 scientists, engineers and technicians to develop alternatives that provide nicotine without the harmful smoke of cigarettes.

The result is that more than 3.7 million consumers have already switched their cigarettes to Philip Morris' smoke-free products. Learn more about these products at
