Arbitration, in his opinion, is a speedy process, taking much less time than a court case. Moreover, it is confidential and the information arising from proceedures is restricted to the parties involved. The costs of arbitration vary according to the enity that takes the case. Baptista named some organazitions that provide this service such as the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce, the American Chamber of Commerce, the Sao Paulo State Industries Center (CIESP), the Brazil Chamber of Arbitration (CAMARB) abd the International Arbitration Chamber (CCI).
