ANVISA's new resolution alarms manufacturers of health products Anxiety and a good dose of instant panic was what initially gave rise to the publication of RDC no. 25/09, in the Diário Oficial da União (Official Gazette), on 05/22/09. This resolution establishes that the majority of manufacturers of health products, subject to be registered at the National Health Surveillance Agency - ANVISA*, should be inspected and certified by ANVISA itself in order to have its products registered and apt for commercialization in Brazil.

The crisis and private equity/venture capital funds As the American - subsequently worldwide - economic and financial crisis has deepened, companies in need of funds for self-financing or leveraging growth started running into difficulties with obtaining loans and financing, mainly due to the sharp drop in the liquidity of credit markets as investors became more risk averse. Banks virtually cut off credit to large, medium and small companies, or start charging high interest rates, making it hard for these companies to raise capital.

Survey on training quality management in Europe: Need for improvement It can be difficult for the uninitiated to understand in-company training. Most companies will say that "employees are our most important asset" and "we are committed to developing our human resources", but managers may still know little about the actual return on training activity. Has it been useful? For whom? What has been achieved?
