At this third event organized by members of the legal committee on 25th August, Paulo Sergio de Almeida, president of the Ministry of Labor and Employment's National Immigration Council, gave a talk on "Arrangements for obtaining visas for foreigners."

An overview of Brazilian policy for incoming foreign professionals was provided, dealing with the applicable legislation for obtaining employment visas, the procedures required by the National Immigration Council to apply for employment visas, and practical issues related to the issue. Speakers also addressed issues relating to hiring Brazilian manpower in other countries.
